The Dōminator - Coming Soon To a Point Near You

Paddle to Shore, Here Comes A Malogua...

More than a year in the making, The Dōminator is nearing completion.  As with many things Rincoeño, the shaping, coloring and glassing of this board has taken on a life of its own.

A recent "preview" on The Facebook generated a fair amount of commentary.

Sean Rampacek Looks lean and fast
David Barry Wave Hog....
John Tolly Not gonna make any new friends
Danny King BR, it's an idiot eradicating device.
Derelict Junction This one is being referred to as "The Dōminator" Sorry eh.
Leon Richter No comment
Danny King Leon, most intelligent comment I've ever seen from you! Just kidding, it's the only comment I recall seeing from you.
Miguel Godinez Nice shape. Can I knee paddle it?
Derelict Junction You could probably paddle it on your head Miguel.11'2 x 24 x 3
John Tolly Not gonna make any new friends

Allegedly, this log will be the second log of the Malogua line of logs.  Of course, when it takes 14 months to get shaped, it can be a real rush to figure out the lams.  Here's a shot of the Malogua laminates getting screened at The Uncharted Studio on Monday.  Yes, those are organic dyes.

Meanwhile, up in the mountains, West Coast legendary shaper & glasser Robb Brown applied the resin tint last weekend during the final days of his 2 month visit to PR.  His host, Jose "The Worm" Muñiz posted this photo on The Facebook this morning.  Looks like this beast will be easy to spot by the Coast Guard.

The next step is to figure out what kind of fin to put into this 11'2' x 24" x 3" beast while the glasswork is finished and then let the logging begin!
