Trick or Treat

Ignoring the doctors' orders and testing out a new fin on the Dome-inator on Halloween.  On this wave, I was stepping on the tail to experiment with the trim.  Looks like not much of the rail is in the water and it's just the tail and fin holding on during a magical two hour run at the point with  only two other loggers.   Need to continue the fin experiment....

Looking for high end donors in the line-up on a sunny morning in PR.
Not many donors, but plenty of wave sliding.
 Subsequently, received this photo by text with the caption,

Great weekend at HR 15. All the great elements swell, stoke, strength and a great MMJ show. All that was missing was the rest of the gang.

As for the photo below, it appears to be from Guethery about 40 years ago. Check the logs on the roof.

A nice early long period south swell has blessed the California coast, which combined with mid-60's water temps and high 80's air temp and all day glassy conditions, made for an epic weekend of surfing conditions... and it ain't over. Heading north for Ghana and then Dume to round it out.
